Sentient-LSI brings over two decades of direct work with TSA, DHS, and the Department of Defense — delivering data analytics, cloud integration, and network infrastructure that keeps mission-critical systems running.
Sentient-LSI, LLC was formed in 2023 through a strategic partnership between Sentient Decisions LLC and LeSchack Integrations, Inc. — two firms with complementary track records in federal IT, business intelligence, and secure systems engineering.
Sentient Decisions is an SDVOSB with proven delivery for federal agencies, including data analytics work for Johnson & Johnson, Salesforce cloud migrations, and certified Tableau and Salesforce implementations across government clients. LeSchack Integrations brings a history dating to the 1980s, with direct work on Homeland Security initiatives, airport operations technology, and large-scale network infrastructure.
Together, we handle the full lifecycle — from requirements and architecture through deployment, integration, and ongoing operations — across IT environments that require compliance with federal security standards.
Focused on federal mission environments — from TSA airport operations to DHS compliance systems.
Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, and Watson implementations. We've built enterprise BI strategy and dashboard infrastructure for TSA's Office of Information Technology, pulling data from FISMA/NIST systems, law enforcement data systems, and End User Services into a single operational view.
Architecture, design, deployment, and management across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments — including Microsoft Azure GovCloud, AWS, and Cisco platforms. Prior work includes HQ-to-datacenter migrations and multi-platform infrastructure for 80,000+ users.
IT security architecture, C&A documentation, and electronic surveillance systems. We have direct experience writing security plans across multi-platform network and endpoint security architecture in TSA operating environments.
End-to-end network architecture, design, and deployment. We led the TSA IP and server network build-out serving the entire agency — 80,000 users — and have supported Cisco, Microsoft, and hybrid cloud network environments across federal data centers.
Applied machine learning on Azure GovCloud, including an NLP-based algorithm for detecting PII and classified data across unstructured sources. Active quantum computing research with IonQ for CSIRO Australia, plus IBM quantum-safe development for federal use cases.
Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations planning for TSA and the Freedom Center — requirements gathering, functional design, and technical documentation. We also produce market research using Forrester, Gartner, and primary analysis to support acquisition decisions.
Selected project highlights across federal and commercial clients.
Developed TSA's self-service and enterprise BI strategy, policy, platform selection, and cloud infrastructure design. Built dashboards for the Office of Information Technology that consolidated data from FISMA/NIST controls, contractor deliverables, EoL/CBA, law enforcement data systems, and Mission Resource systems into a single operational view for leadership.
Built queuing-theory-based wait-time algorithms and operational dashboards for passenger screening and throughput systems, and security equipment tracking. Output fed directly into the TSA Airport Operations Center for real-time situational awareness.
Led architecture and technical delivery on the TSA-wide IP and server network, covering the full agency. Separately managed HQ-to-datacenter migration across Microsoft, Cisco, and hybrid cloud platforms, coordinating physical and logical moves without service disruption.
Produced Functional Requirements, System Design, and Security Plan documentation across multi-platform network and endpoint security architecture — covering identity management, web gateway, network monitoring, and cloud platforms — all in TSA operating environments subject to FISMA and NIST controls.
Built a machine learning algorithm using Azure LUIS and Text Analytics (deployed in US GovCloud) that scans multiple data sources to flag potential PII, SPII, and classified content — reducing manual review burden for compliance teams.
Developed quantum computing use cases for CSIRO Australia in partnership with IonQ. Ongoing IBM quantum-safe and quantum development work through registered IBM partnership, with focus on federal-relevant applications.
